Bio
Soham Mehta is a research fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation. He previously worked in the Office of the New York State Attorney General, where he helped draft regulations for New York's algorithmic feed ban for minors (the SAFE for Kids Act) and served on a social media and violent extremism task force. Earlier, he was a Google Public Policy Fellow at NetChoice and a public interest technologist at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. He graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with a degree in philosophy and statistics.
