Frank Fagan
Bio
Frank Fagan is a Professor of Law at South Texas College of Law and a Research Associate at the EDHEC Augmented Law Institute in France. His teaching and research focuses on corporate law and the intersection of law, economics, and technology, particularly artificial intelligence. In addition to his research and teaching, Frank has contributed to various press outlets such as Vox, Forbes, and Bloomberg Law. He also serves as a co-editor of the Research in Law & Economics book series (Emerald) and editor of the AI Law Blawg (https://ailawblawg.com). Frank previously served as a legal advisor and attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor from 2013 to 2018. Before transitioning to law, he worked in corporate finance at JP Morgan and later ran his own merchant bank. Professor Fagan received a B.S. from Grove City College, a M.A. and PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
