Bio
Cody Matteson is program manager for the Science and Energy & Infrastructure teams at the Foundation for American Innovation. His work focuses on advancing science-driven policy and strengthening U.S. leadership in energy and emerging technologies.
Previously, Cody worked as a field biologist and environmental consultant for state governments and private consulting firms. His academic research examined the impacts of nutrient pollution on ecosystems, and he has published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Cody holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science from the University of Georgia.
