Bio

Ashley Teague is a Special Assistant with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Financial Management and Comptroller).

Prior to her current position, Ms. Teague served as National Security Advisor to Congressman Chuck Edwards (R-NC) supporting his work as Vice Chairman of the House National Security and Related Programs Appropriations Subcommittee. In this role, Ms. Teague was the Congressman’s primary advisor on national security, foreign affairs, and intelligence policy.

Ms. Teague graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BSBA in Business Administration and a BA in Peace, War, and Defense Studies with a concentration in International Intelligence. Ms. Teague was a Luther Hodges Scholar and focused her research on the intersection of public and private sector defense innovation. She grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, and began her time in Congress in 2017 as a U.S. Senate Page.
