
Alexis Eskenazi
Artificial Intelligence Policy Analyst at the Federal Reserve
Bio
Alexis Eskenazi is a Regents’ and Chancellor’s Scholar at UC Berkeley studying AI Engineering & Human Systems. This summer, she is working at the Federal Reserve Board on AI and emerging threats and serving as a Security Studies Grand Strategy Fellow with the Hertog Foundation. In the spring, she was an AI Policy Fellow at Google and an Economic Policy Fellow with Convergence Analysis, where she analyzed state-level AI legislation and semiconductor production strategy. Previously, she contributed to the re-drafting of the EU AI Act Code of Practice as a research assistant to UC Berkeley Professor David Evan Harris and served as a consultant to the City of Madison, WI on digital infrastructure as a Paragon Policy Fellow. Her broader interests span artificial intelligence, compute governance, robotics, and industrial resilience.
