Laurent Crenshaw

Bio

Laurent is chair of the board at the Foundation for American Innovation. He is currently working on a stealth project. Previously, he was Senior Director of Policy and External Affairs at Patreon, where he led the company’s policy development, strategy, planning, and advocacy. Before joining Patreon, Laurent served in senior public policy roles at Eaze and Yelp. Prior to shifting to the tech sector, Laurent worked in the U.S. House of Representatives for over a decade, with roles in the offices of Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), then Majority Whip Roy Blunt (R-MO), and in the Republican Conference. His legislative policy work focused on Internet law, intellectual property, and telecommunications.
