Pavan Venkatakrishnan

Bio

Pavan Venkatakrishnan is a Policy Advisor at the Foundation for American Innovation, where he works on advancing policy innovation and government relations initiatives related to energy, tax, and regulatory policy. His previous work has included helping to secure the preservation of clean firm energy tax credits and leading industry coalitions in support of energy permitting reform.

Before joining FAI, Pavan worked at the Institute for Progress and the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, contributing to analysis and advocacy surrounding key legislation, including the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the Fiscal Responsibility Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act.

Pavan’s writing has appeared in the Washington Post, and his work has been cited by the New York Times, POLITICO, and other national outlets.
