For the past year, Saagar Enjeti, co-host of The Hill's Rising with Krystal and Saagar, and I have co-hosted The Realignment podcast. Over 40 plus episodes, we've interviewed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senators Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton, Representative Mike Gallagher, Krystal Ball, Bhaskar Sunkara, J.D. Vance, Megan McArdle, and Jane Coaston, among others.
During those first two seasons, my favorite episodes explored Silicon Valley's impact (positive and negative) on American society as a whole. I first met Lincoln Network's Head of Policy Zach Graves when Saagar and I interviewed him and the American Economic Liberties Project's Matt Stoller on the conflict between Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C. We went on to speak with Rachel Bovard of the Internet Accountability Project, Mike Isaac of The New York Times, Klon Kitchen, Director of the Heritage Foundation's Center for Technology Policy, and finished up our second season with outspoken FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr.
As we launch our third season with a conversation with Senator Marco Rubio today, Saagar and I are excited to announce The Realignment podcast's collaboration with Lincoln Network this season. We will also participate in Lincoln Network's annual Reboot conference this November 6, 9, and 10. As part of our work with Lincoln Network, we plan on increasing The Realignment's focus on the intersection of technology policy, Silicon Valley, and Washington, D.C.
Starting on Tuesday, August 4th, The Realignment will release two episodes a week. On Tuesday, you'll hear me and Saagar speak with angel investor Balaji Srinivasan about the decentralization of media and the conflict between the tech press and the broader industry. On Thursday, we'll air our conversation with Joe Lonsdale, co-founder of Palantir and General Partner at 8VC.
You can find the links to the video of the conversation with Senator Rubio at The Realignment's new YouTube page and the audio of the podcast here.

We'll see you all next Tuesday.
