Thomas Hochman
Director of Energy & Infrastructure Policy
Bio
Thomas Hochman is director of energy and infrastructure policy at the Foundation for American Innovation, where he focuses on permitting and energy policy. His work has contributed to the enactment of permitting reform legislation, executive orders, agency guidance, and energy tax credit reforms.
Thomas has testified to Congress as an expert witness on NEPA and related issues. His writing has been featured in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, American Affairs, The New Atlantis, City Journal, the Oxford Energy Forum, and other outlets, and he has been cited in The New York Times, Politico, and elsewhere.
Thomas holds a BS in statistics (Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, with high honors in major) from the University of Vermont.
