Thomas Hochman

Bio

Thomas Hochman is the Director of the Energy & Infrastructure Policy team at the Foundation for American Innovation (FAI) working on permitting and energy policy. His work has contributed to the enactment of permitting reform legislation, executive orders, agency guidance, and energy tax credit reforms.

Hochman has testified to Congress as an expert witness on NEPA and related issues. His writing has been featured in the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, American Affairs, The New Atlantis, City Journal, the Oxford Energy Forum, and a number of other outlets, and he has been cited in the New York Times, Politico, and elsewhere.

Hochman holds a BS in Statistics (Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, with high honors in major) from the University of Vermont.
