James Poulos

Bio

James is a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Foundation for American Innovation. He is the founder of RETURN, acquired by Blaze Media, where he is editor-at-large, editorial director of Frontier, and host of Zero Hour.

Previously, James was co-founder and editor of The American Mind. He is the author of Human Forever (2021) and The Art of Being Free (2017). For over a decade, his prolific and influential work on the dynamics of democracy in the digital age has been published across the media landscape, from Foreign Affairs and National Affairs to The New York Times and The Washington Post, among many others. He holds a Ph.D. in Government from Georgetown University.
