Bio
Ben C. Snyder is a Research Assistant at the Texas A&M Biosecurity and Pandemic Policy Center, where he conducts policy research and organizes events to drive U.S. government action on mitigating biological threats. Most recently, his work has focused on improving oversight for gain-of-function research and applying AI to detect future pandemics. Ben previously studied life sciences governance frameworks at the Stanford Center for International Security and Cooperation and helped show that voting, protests, and political rallies did not lead to additional COVID-19 deaths at the Yale Human Nature Lab. Ben holds a B.A. in Economics from Yale University.
