Michael A. Fragoso

Bio

Michael A. Fragoso is Chief Counsel to Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY). He previously served as the Republican Chief Counsel for Nominations and Constitutional Law on the Senate Judiciary Committee, as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Policy, and as Legislative Director to Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ). He began his career as a law clerk to Judge Diane Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He graduated from Notre Dame Law School and Princeton University. The views expressed here are his own.
